Microsoft releases Office version for IPad Tablet

According to statement released by Satya Nadella, Microsoft released a version of Office software for iPad tablets last Thursday to expand the Internet cloud footprint.

Satya Nadella, new CEO of Microsoft, described a new vision of turning Microsoft to be a master of software and services offered in the cloud of any gadgets people choose.

Titan technology stressed that goal by releasing Office software specifically tailored for iPads, device created by a longtime rival of Microsoft, Apple.
During a first press briefing, Nadella said that: “Today is the first step on a journey to make this a great innovation vector for all of Microsoft,” he added: “we are committed to making our applications run cross-platform.”

This track was most probably chosen by Microsoft due to the fact that its Surface has a limited impact in the market led by Apple and its tablet iPad.

According to Nadella, one of the aspects of the strategy of Microsoft is to provide its users with full feature versions of already popular programs available for any type of device.
He stated that the company remains committed to the operating system Windows for powering computers and assured that more news on that line would be revealed at the conference for developers the following week in San Francisco.

“There is no trade-off,” Nadella commented on the fact they now offer programs and cloud services to the devices of its rivals. “It is about being able to excel where ever our customers are.”
