REVEALED: How female herbalist spread Ebola into Sierra Leone

Ebola virus started from a traditional healer in Serria Leone.According to Health officials the herbalist, who was a in a remote part of the eastern borders, claimed to have a cure to the disease.

Those from neighbouring Guinea were coming to her for cure, infecting her and causing her death. Mohamed Vandi, a top medical official said

'She was claiming to have powers to heal Ebola. Cases from Guinea were crossing into Sierra Leone for treatment,She got infected and died. During her funeral, women around the other towns got infected.'

The herbalist's mourners started a chain reaction of infections, deaths, funerals and more infections,eventually causing 365 deaths
