 As the year 2014 is about to end...KNB has compiled the list of our great personalities of the year ..take a glimpse below

 

1. DAVIDO

 

With no doubts this year 2014 has been a rewarding year for Davido, though some maybe hating but it is so obvious that he has surely represented the Nigerian entertainment really well, as the year rolls by the "Skelewu" crooner according to sources is celebrating 2014 with 22 Awards and other nominations he didn't emerge as winner and this is Amazing and Challenging to other Artists in the Industry.

 

 

2. Linda Ikeji

Linda Ikeji is the second on our List, you can not talk about Nigeria Blogosphere without hearing her name, she is a great inspiration to many bloggers and great influence to young ladies all over the world,

Hard Working Linda Ikeji started blogging in 2007, and Five years later she had a success story to tell, she has grown her Blog to one of the most visited Blog in Nigeria and beyound, as a regular source for news, gossip, entertainment and more her blog continues to attract thoudsands of visitors on daily basis and also generating good income for her.

 

This Year 2014 her blog was taken down by google as a result of greed and jealousy from some haters..but was reinstated after 24hrs (Read more about that here)

 

When you add dedication, passion, persistence to what you do, you are most likely to have a success story like Linda.

 

3. Dr. Okonjo Iweala

Nigerian economist Okonjo-Iweala didn't let her failed 2012 bid to become president of the World Bank slow her down. In 2011, she received her second appointment as finance minister of Nigeria. Since then, the country's GDP has displayed robust growth -- 6.87% growth between 2012 and 2013 -- especially given the relatively sluggish global recovery. Okonjo-Iweala was key to developing the reform programs that helped stabilize Nigeria's economy and improve governmental transparency. She has now turned her attention to Nigeria's 14% unemployment rate. The Harvard- and M.I.T.-trained Okonjo-Iweala spent 21 years as a development economist at the World Bank.

4. Malala Yousafzai

 

the 17 yrs old Malala In October 2014 became the youngest Nobel Peace Prize winner ever. She was recognized for her efforts in securing education for all children, especially girls. Malala has been in the news since she blogged in 2009 for BBC. Eleven-year-old Malala wrote about her experiences in Pakistan, where Taliban extremists forbade girls from attending school. In 2012, the group tried to kill her -- a Taliban member shot her in the head -- but she survived and continued with advocacy work for oppressed children.

 

 

5. Bobby Doo

 

Bobby Doo is his stage name..he his one of the young fastest raising Act in the Nigeria Entertainment Industry, Muoneke Obumneke was born on February 27th 1996, hails from Orumba North LGA in Anambra State. His Journey started in secondary school when he joined the school band as well as the Choir in his JSS1.

His love for musical instruments prepared him for the Journey ahead, Today he is the youngest Artist in Nigeia Music industry and has found favour in Jamaica and the United States. He is the first to tour this line from his home Town Agbiligba in Nanka, Anambra State.

 

He released his first single titled "Grass to Grace" in 2013 which was played on Jamaican radio and in 2014 he made a collabo on another track "Sarewole" which featured LindyRock.

watch out for this young star who is known to be versatile in languages, According to close sources his next banger might be a mixture of Swahili and English.

Nigerian billionaire businessman, Aliko Dangote, has been named Forbes Africa Person of the Year 2014.and here also he is one of our greatest personalities this year 2014

Aliko Dangote is a lion of Africa in terms of business. He is second to none when it comes to investing in Africa, not just Nigeria. He is also a capitalist with a big heart. He puts his money where his mouth is and his foundation is a step forward for a man who wants to make a difference on the continent.

 7. Flavour

Flaour N'abania like he is often called is a great influence in Nigeria Music Industry, The East Side Artist has remained up with his latetst Album he titled "Thankful' ...this is one of the rare Album anyone who is a lover of good music should not miss.

He is one of our Personalities this year 2014..as we expect more great works from him come next year

 

 

8. Lindy Rock

Linda Odimgbe a.k.a Lindy Rock is a hard working young lady with full passion for entertainment, she is a Model and also a singer, 

Linda is a very fast raising Artist in the Industry, with her sweet voice and good shape she is going to make a hit in the Nigeria Entertianment Industry.

9. Omotola Jalade Ekeinde
 
Omotola Jalade Ekeinde is a Nigerian actress, singer, philanthropist and former model of an Ondo descent from Lagos, Nigeria. Since her Nollywood film debut in 1995, the leading actress has appeared in 300 films, selling millions of video copies.

Married to an airline pilot she met on a flight from Lagos to Benin, Jalade-Ekeinde brings a juggler's grace to her roles as actress, singer, reality-show star, mother of four and philanthropist (the Omotola Youth Empowerment Programme)"

our list wont be complete without including a great teacher and Man of God Pastor Christian Oyakhilome. He  is a Nigerian minister who is the founding president of Believers' LoveWorld Incorporated also known as "Christ Embassy", a Bible-based Christian ministry headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria.
 He is a father and mentor to many young and old around the world,
