Esquire magazine has unveiled its most sexy woman of the year and it is Emilia Clarke

Emilia Clarke is a 28-year-old Londoner, who played a role in the Game of Thrones TV series as a menacing, white-haired Daenerys Targaryen, aka Khaleesi, aka Mother of Dragons.

Esquire magazine anointed Emilia Clarke as the Sexiest Woman Alive, early Tuesday.




In addition to her high-profile role on the massively popular HBO series, Clarke was Sarah Connor in the summer movie hit "Terminator: Genisys."



Esquire wrote that: "Emilia Clarke is unforgettable in 'Game of Thrones' and was hands down the number one choice of Esquire's staff, friends and family."
