Egypt Minister of Justice sacked after his contradictory comments about Mohammed
Egypt’s minister for justice Ahmed el-Zind ‘s appointment has been terminated by the prime minister for comments he made against Mohammed. To convince Egyptians that he is fighting corruption he said he’ll imprison the prophet Mohammed if he committed a crime.
According Hossam Qawish, Cabinet spokesman the minister was “released from his position”. El-Zind said in a television interview that he would put anyone who violates the law in prison, “even if he is the prophet, peace and blessing be upon him.”

Though El-Zind said “I ask God for forgiveness” for making the comment, faithful Muslims cannot forgive him
