Ibinabo Fiberesima: Court Grants Actress N2m Bail

Actress Ibinabo Fiberesima was said to have been sent to jail after being found guilty of murder. Report has it now that she has been granted bail. She was granted bail in the sum of N2million and two sureties who are residents in Lagos in like sum in a Lagos Court.

 The popular Nollywood actress and embattled President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria AGN) had been slammed a 5-year jail term by The Court of Appeal in Lagos. Justice Jamilu Yammama Tukur delivered the judgement, declaring that the appeal was shallow and lacked merit.

Ibinabo’s vehicle had collided with the car of a staff of Lagos State hospital, Giwa Suraj as a result of reckless driving on the Lekki-Epe Expressway in February, 2006.
