Nigerians Are Now Queuing Through The Night To Get Petrol – BBC Writes On Fuel Scarcity (Photos)
They are blaming the fuel marketers who are responsible for selling petrol to the filling stations and the Buhari-led federal government for not doing enough to solve the problem.
It can be recalled that last week, the Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu apologized to Nigerians and said the problems would be over soon, adding that the current scarcity can be partly put down to vandals who are damaging the oil infrastructure and those it calls “saboteurs in the system”.
Others are saying that the current shortage of foreign exchange in the country is making it more difficult to import refined fuel.
