Buhari Returns to Nigeria After London Medical Trip (Photos)



President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Nigeria after his 13 days visit to London for medical treatment.

The President had traveled to the UK on June 6 to rest and also see an E.N.T. specialist for ear infection evaluation.

A spokesman for the President, Mr Femi Adesina, had in a statement said President Buhari’s Personal Physician and an E.N.T. Specialist had recommended further evaluation of the ear after they had examined him.



He arrived in Abuja, the nation’s capital, at about 5:30 p.m. local time (Sunday 10th June 2016).
The president was received by Governor Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara state, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state; members of the Federal Executive Council, top government officials, federal lawmakers and service chiefs among others.



On arrival, Buhari inspected a guard of honour mounted by men of the Guards Brigade. With the elaborate airport ceremonies over, the president and some top aides left for the presidential villa.



While the leader of the nation was asked about his health status, President Buhari said that he was okay.

“You have seen me. You saw me when I was going. You can do the assessment yourself. “I am okay. You can see me inspecting the guard of honour. You can see I am taller than you. Do you want to wrestle with me, you can do so,”
Buhari said.
