Wizkid wins Best African Act at MOBO Awards 2016 | See Full List of Winners

Wizkid has been announced the winner of Best African Act at MOBO Awards 2016.

The "Music of Black Origin" MOBO award is held annually in the United Kingdom to recognize artists of any ethnicity or nationality performing black music.

Nigerian pop star, Wizkid who scoop three awards at 2016 MTV Africa Music Awards held in South Africa days ago was announced the winner in the category which had Olamide, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Mr Eazi and Eyfa as nominees at the #PreMOBOawards2016 show yesterday.

Other award winners announced are:

 BEST RNB/SOUL -  Shakka

BEST GOSPEL -  Guvna B

BEST JAZZ -  Esperanza Spalding

MOBO UNSUNG -  Alika

The main show will be holding on November 4, 2016 in Glasgow.
