Late Ghanaian Singer, Ebony Reigns Buried (See Photos)
It was indeed a sad scene as fans, family and friends of the late Ghanaian dancehall act, Ebony Reigns gathered to pay her last tribute.
Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, known in showbiz as Ebony, was born on February 16, 1997, she is a Ghanaian dancehall/Afrobeats artist widely known for her hit songs “Poison” and “Kupe”, she was discovered by Bullet, a member of Ruff n Smooth fame.
Ebony came out with her first single, “Dancefloor”, in December 2015 with a video and audio release. The song became a hit on radio landing her nomination for the unsung category at the 2016 Ghana Music Awards.
In March 2016 Ebony released her major hit single “Kupe”, which is a household anthem in Ghana and some other African countries.
She met her tragic death in an accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi road with two others after paying a visit to her mother who had returned from the United Kingdom.
The 21-year-old songstress died along with two others (Francisca Nkansah Kuri aged 27 years and Lance Corporal Vondee Francis Atsu, aged 29 years) a week before her 21st birthday.
