Donald Trump elected U.S President, vows to make America great again

Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate has emerged the winner of US Presidential election held Nov.8th 2016.

Trump has really made history winning the US presidential election despite all controversies that would easily have destroyed other candidacies, extreme policies that have drawn criticism from both sides of the aisle, a record of racist and sexist behaviour, and a lack of conventional political experience.

In his acceptance speech, Trump revealed that his close contender, Hillary Clinton called to congratulate him over his victory.

“I have just received a call from Secretary Clinton. She congratulated us – it’s about us and our victory – and I congratulated her on a very hard fought campaign. 

He also pleaged to do a great job as the new American president.

“Now it is time for Americans to bind the wounds of division,” he added. “It is time for us to become together as one united people … I pledge to every citizen of our land that I will be president for all Americans.”

I can only say that while the campaign is over, our work on this movement is now really just beginning. We're going to get to work immediately for the American people and we're going to be doing a job that hopefully you will be so proud of your president. You will be so proud. Again, it's my honor.
